We hope these weekly updates are helpful. Thank you all for your continued support.
The AgecCare family is blessed to have so many kind, patient, good-natured residents who never fail to offer a smile or cheerful comment to others! The impacts of this pandemic and the safety precautions that followed have been hard on everyone, but many of our cherished seniors seem to take these changes in stride... perhaps harvesting seeds of wisdom from their many years of living and learning.
This week we pay special tribute to our residents. You are our heroes and our greatest source of purpose, inspiration and joy.
COVID-19 Update
While BC. has lifted many restrictions and safety measures, the vaccine card and rules regarding long-term care visitors remain in place but will be reviewed over the next two months.
Here is a quick review of BC changes that came into effect this week:

Who can book:
Anyone over the age of 12, six months after receiving your second dose.
Please see this vaccine reminder from the BC Centre for Disease Control:
Most people need two doses of vaccine to have effective protection against COVID-19.
Some people with compromised immune systems need three doses to be fully immunized.
Booster doses are recommended for everyone 18 years and older to have the best protection against COVID-19 and the variants of concern.
