Here is what Jeannette Cuthbert, Director of Care at Monashee Mews, has been singing about:
“The staff at Monashee Mews come to work every day and always put the residents first even when they’re tired, sore, and hungry. They’re always making sure the residents look their best. They sing and dance with them, tell jokes and have meaningful full one-on-ones with them. I am amazed at the selflessness they show. They make sure the residents are cared for before they care for themselves, and it just makes my heart so happy to see this day after day, regardless of what’s happening.”
Here is what Denise Brown, Office Manager at Harmony Court, has been singing about:
“We are truly grateful to our site leader Cindy Kahon for her strength and support. She has trudged through every day, keeping us calm and informed. She keeps the staff/team going during a crisis while maintaining professionalism and composure. Cindy rises to the challenge and leads the team, short of staff, long hours, early mornings, late evenings, all while maintaining respect for all aspects of her job. She is a true leader and one we all look up to and learn from.”
