The Government of British Columbia, in partnership with the Better at Home Program, recently funded a new program called Safe Seniors, Strong Communities.
The program is designed to help reduce the risk of isolation and loneliness of care home residents while their friends and family are unable to visit. Residents can get assistance with groceries and medications, and have virtual visits from volunteers.
